What a trip!
I guess fourth times the charm... I returned to Second Life tonight and found it to be really eventful. I went under camping and found a list of places where new things can be gotten for free, and you can get paid to just walk around and window shop!
I made my first 6 bucks by window shopping and clicking on beach balls for free clothes, shoes, jewerly, hairstyles and, most important, dance steps!
The only problem I found is you have to stay on the island in ten minute allotments to get the money. I guess it would be good if I was multitasking and doing something else at the same time.
You have to gain access to the islands pay-out offer and a lot of times the places were full, and no one else could access them. Some islands have a waiting list. If you're patient, you can wait your turn. I'm not, so I didn't.
Renya showed up, and we went to explore some of the islands she had marked as her favorites. We went to this really cool one - no, I don't remember its name, but it was way cool.
We took turns riding on the art objects in the town square. It made both of us dizzy, so we left. Then, we went to what looked like a zoo and rode the llamas. Renya and I rode on the back of Nessie, and I even captured a dragonfly and rode on its back for a while!
